A Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) course is a nationally recognized diploma required to develop skills in business and management. A PGDM diploma is offered by business schools and colleges recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or in some institutions accredited to the Association of Indian Universities (AIU); however, they are mostly institutions that are not under prime universities. PGDM courses are more industry-oriented and career opportunities after completion of a PGDM course are as vast and diverse as an MBA and range from business, accounts, finance, human resources, marketing, operations, etc.
